Pippin McGee was conceived in 2005 by a mother of two, Kim Crouchet. Kim was in the furniture business for 15 years before becoming a mother. She struggled with getting her questions answered about the differences in baby products and why choose one over the other. She did her own research and with a background in the furniture business was able to find out which products met all quality and safety guidelines.

Kim realized that there was a need to help expectant and new parents find answers to all their questions about children’s products like “what’s the difference between these two car seats?” or “what are the safety guidelines for children’s products?”. Pippin Mcgee is committed to researching products thoroughly before offering them to a parent and to ensure they meet safety guidelines.

Why a blog?

With this blog we hope to serve as a resource for parents and grandparents. To provide safety guidelines while selecting a product, design tips to create dream nurseries and rooms, product recall information and just a heart to heart sharing of life as a parent.

We aim to bring you our years of experience with children’s products and share that wealth of information to assist you in your search for the very best for your child.

There is a ton of information on the web, and although we can’t say we have all the information you need, we can definitely say that the information we bring to you is from our experience with these products and its not just hashed together just to write articles. Because we have both a retail store and a website, we know the products extremely well and have firsthand experience with the merchandise.
